OUR CHAPTER HISTORY

Our local fraternity, the Gamma Theta Chapter, was founded on December 14, 1968. The founders consist of ten men who were friends that met on Bellreive Golf Course (now UMSL). Those men were Baker, Bradshaw, Boyd, Bowman, Moss, Olsen, Guckess, King, Freeman, and the first president Ridenhour. These men started the first social greek organization at UMSL which is now known as Sigma Tau Gamma. Forty years later we still reside in the original house at 8660 Natural Bridge Road. And still practice the principles of: Value, Learning, Leadership, Excellence, Benefit, and Integrity.
